Electrical Test Engineer

Job description
- Able to understand software written in C language, python and LabVIEW is a plus
- Building own test fixtures is a MUST, which is a vital part of the role
- Test Planning/Test design with a focus of automation
- Experience with micro-controllers
- Hands-on experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with National Instruments (NI) data acquisition products is a plus
- Experience with CAN and/or Linux is a plus
Duties
- Plans and coordinates product testing and validation
- Develop product test standards
- Development of Semi-Automated Product Test and Automated Inspection
- Develop data acquisition with Manufacturing, Engineering, Drafting, and Configuration personnel to bring design from concept to manufacturable product
- Design test stands as required
- Performs Life-Cycle Testing
- Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs test products
- Writes clear, coherent test procedures and test reports
- Provides technical support to Manufacturing, Engineering, and NPD as required
- Trains Manufacturing and technical staff in the usage of test stands
- Performs other duties as directed

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
